What is Penlac (Ciclopirox)?
This medication is an antifungal solution for treating mild to moderate fungal infections on the nails or within the nail bed. Regular visits to your doctor for the removal of unattached, infected nails may still be required. Nail fungus is an infection that's treatable. It's caused by a microscopic fungus that infects the surface under toenails or fingernails. Often, people have nail fungus without realizing it.

This solution is for external use only. Don't take by mouth and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth or nose.
